Usb mouse not working under usb 2.0? - microsoft usb mouse driver

I had reduced my speed USB for some reason of inheritance, so I did the BIOS back to USB 2.0, but only with Windows XP now my USB mouse is not working, I can not even connect. is not a hardware problem, because everything runs on Linux or OSX on the same machine with the same mouse, with the same configuration.
It's a fucking mouse, I need drivers for them?
even with native USB mouse from Microsoft
